All about my first impressions:
Lets talk about the mirror. Hello, bonus! It's HUGE. It's perfect. I am a sucker for palettes with mirrors but even more of a sucker for a pretty palette with a LARGE mirror. So point to Huda for that mirror.
Now lets get into shades and all the glorious fun regarding colors, fall out, and more.
I can't judge all shades yet but the ones I used are: Musk, Oud, Amethyst, and Twilight.
Musk: A gorgeous light brown shade that reminds me of powdered hot chocolate (I love food, don't judge) the shade was gorgeous and made a perfect transition shade. It blended like a dream and had minimal fallout.
Oud: Is a lovely warm brown with a hint of red, it was pigmented to the high heavens and had the blend-ability of butter. This shade had more fallout than Musk but it too was very minimal.
Amethyst: Is almost magenta in it's coloring. The color is gorgeous in the pan. I found this shade to be a huge let down. It was hard vs buttery smooth and the color payout does not compare to the one dip, wam bam that Musk and Oud provided me for my look. I had to do layers to get the desired color, it did blend beautifully which helps make up for the lack of color payout on this shade.
Twilight: A stunning pink, purple and blue duo chrome shade that was not a let down on any type of level. The color went on beautifully and did not disappoint when it came to sparkle and color shift. Zero creasing and very minimal fallout. Highly pigmented and almost creamy in texture. A definite favorite out of the 4 shades used.
Overall I am beyond impressed with this palette. The eye shadow has basically been on my eyes since 1030AM and as I wrap up this blog it is now 4:03PM. I have no creasing, no wearing, no glitter fallout and the color is still as bright as it was when I applied it this AM.
If you can afford it and are okay spending $65 for this palette it would be on my must have list.
